I am so elated that you have chosen to share this journey with me. Even as a little girl, I knew that I was called to be a leader and help heal people’s hearts. I have always had a strong sense of compassion for people and I never wanted to see individuals hurting. At the age of twelve, I so vividly remember asking the Almighty and the Universe to make its will plain in my life. Shortly thereafter, my quest began. My journey to purpose has been filled with trials, obstacles, failures, heartbreaks, and setbacks. However, each trial has taught me to appreciate triumph. Each obstacle taught me to rise in the face of opposition. Failure made me a fighter. Heartbreak lead me to a place called healed and setbacks were merely setups for the stage that was being set before me. Twenty- two years later, I published my very first book. My journey hasn’t been an easy one, and quite often it was consistently complicated, but I made the decision to open my heart and deal with all of ME. I decided that I would no longer live beneath my potential. I decided that my past would no longer dictate me, and cripple my future. I decided to Heal. And doing so has lead me to this exact moment. I am grateful for every experience, and it is my prayer that “Dear Girl” is a blessing to the hearts of women everywhere- today and for days to come. “Allie”
